Labradorite is a natural stone that is grainy -crystalline rock. Labradorites are formed in magmatic depths and are composed of a mineral Labrador Retriever (plagioclase - feldspar from dark-colored minerals). The structure labradorites is crystalline and is subdivided into coarse-grained and medium-grained rock. Its name is Labradorites were obtained from the place of their original deposit - the Labrador Peninsula, but mining is also carried out in countries such as Finland, Ukraine and Russia. Mainly labradorites are light gray, dark gray and black. It is the dark-colored minerals that give the stone a dark, beautiful color.

Minerals labradorite and labradorite are not one and also. The chemical composition of Labrador is an aluminosilicatecalcium, and is famous for its high aesthetic qualities. In turn, labradorite is a rock that contains about 60% labradorite. Such "ratios" are typical, for example, for feldspar and granite: the amount of spar in granite is about 60-65%.

Labradorite, used in jewelry, requires careful and regular maintenance. To prevent the gemstone from scratching and losing its shine, it is recommended to remove jewelry when doing household chores, when using cosmetics in the bath, shower, sauna, swimming pool, etc.
